Most nights are “new recipe night,” where I’m constantly tweaking and perfecting dishes until they hit all the right taste buds. At my feet—or sometimes directly under them—are my two favorite kitchen companions, Shadow Pie and Sadie Sue. These enthusiastic taste testers are always ready for a sample (or two).
